What I offer (and what I don't)

My work combines professional one-on-one accompaniment with psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktikergesetz (with a focus on Gestalt therapy). It is for people in a phase of transition, integrating an intense experience, or seeking more clarity in how they relate to themselves, to others, to decisions, or to inner conflict.

I work through conversation, with attention to lived experience and to the body. Elements from Gestalt therapy, psychology, contact with nature, mindfulness, and my own ongoing personal work can flow into a session, as can approaches from modern behavioral therapy such as Schema Therapy or ACT.

At the heart of all of this is the building of a supportive relationship. Much only becomes possible where reliable contact has grown; that is why I take time for this before we begin working on particular topics.

At the same time, it matters to me to name the limits of this work clearly.

What I offer

  • Psychotherapy (with a focus on Gestalt therapy) as a licensed Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie
  • Professional one-on-one accompaniment for personal, professional, or existential questions
  • Support in phases of disorientation, decision, or change
  • Accompaniment with relationships, self-worth, inner conflict, and questions of meaning
  • Integration of intense experiences, including after psychedelic experiences
  • Reflection on patterns, feelings, body awareness, and relational experience
  • Sessions in nature, when a different setting helps

What I don’t offer

  • no acute crisis or emergency care
  • no medical or psychiatric treatment
  • no diagnostics and no treatment of severe psychiatric conditions that require medical or psychiatric care
  • no substances, no recommendation to take illegal substances, and no accompaniment of psychedelic journeys
  • no promises of healing, no guarantee of particular outcomes

When other help matters more

Please reach out to medical or psychiatric care if you are in an acute crisis or if you experience strong symptoms, such as suicidal thoughts, psychotic experiences, mania, severe depression, an acute addiction crisis, strong dissociation, or the sense that you can no longer manage daily life.

In acute emergencies, please contact your local emergency services or a psychiatric crisis line.

Referral

If it becomes clear in a first conversation or later in the process that another form of support would be more fitting or safer, I will say so openly. In some situations it can make sense to seek medical or psychiatric care alongside, or before, this work.

Accompaniment when familiar answers are no longer enough…
