Online Sessions

When accompaniment needs time and continuity

Some things need more than a few sessions. They need time, continuity, and a space that stays reliably present over weeks or months. That’s what I offer in ongoing one-on-one work.

What I don’t promise: quick fixes, dramatic breakthroughs, miracles. What I can offer: a protected space where what is here gets taken seriously. And time for the changes that can grow out of that organically.

What it looks like

We meet online via Zoom. A session lasts 60 minutes. How often we meet is something we decide together: weekly, every two weeks, or as needed.

How a process unfolds from your first message to a conscious closing is described under How a process unfolds.

What people come with

  • Crises and demanding life situations
  • Important decisions and turning points
  • Difficulties in relationships
  • Self-worth questions and recurring patterns
  • Searching for meaning and orientation
  • Work-related pressure and exhaustion
  • Topics from academic life (impostor syndrome, conflicts with supervisors, career planning in science)

My fee is on average 100 € per hour. Depending on your financial situation it can be higher or lower. We agree on it together.

My background

My background is in psychology, Gestalt therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. As a licensed Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie in Germany, I also offer psychotherapy with a focus on Gestalt therapy alongside this accompaniment. I have been accompanying people in such processes since 2019. More about my path under Who am I?.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you work in a session?

My background is in psychology, Gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and many years of experience with shamanism from Brazil and Peru. As a licensed Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie in Germany, I also offer psychotherapy with a focus on Gestalt therapy. Which language we choose depends on what you need.

I work primarily process-oriented: what is showing up is the material, and concrete steps emerge from there. Sometimes conversation is enough; sometimes body-oriented exercises, images, or imagination come into play. What fits clarifies itself in the doing.

How can I tell if this is right for me?

In the first conversation you have time to get to know me and ask questions. If you or I notice during the first half of the session that it isn’t a fit, the session is free.

Letting yourself be accompanied isn’t easy at the start. Feelings of inadequacy or shame are sometimes part of it. I went through this myself; in retrospect, I’m grateful I did it anyway.

How a process practically unfolds is described under How a process unfolds.

Do I need to know exactly what my concern is?

No. Many people come precisely because something isn’t yet clear. Part of the work can be to find out what the real concern is in the first place. A short description of your situation is enough for a first conversation.

Can I come if I'm already in therapy?

In principle, accompaniment alongside therapy can be possible. What matters is keeping the roles distinct and not undermining an ongoing treatment. If anything is unclear, we work it out together, and if helpful, in coordination with your treating practitioners.

How often should sessions take place?

Often around two sessions per month is a good frame at the start. Depending on what you bring, more or less frequent meetings may make sense. For crises or work with traumatic experiences, a weekly interval is usually appropriate.

Experience shows that regular sessions carry more than a few intensive ones (though the latter is possible in individual cases). For special occasions, I also support longer processes spanning several days. Feel free to ask me about this.

What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours before the session.

For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or no-shows, the session will be charged in full. This policy is intended to respect the time and planning of everyone involved.

If you notify me in time (at least 24 hours in advance), we can reschedule the appointment at no additional cost.
