The Great Call

"What are you waiting for?" it whispered mysteriously from the silence within me.

My inner voice had grown loud, echoing clearly and long since finding its way into my dreams. It was too late to ignore it—its contradiction resonated too strongly within me. And yet, I was content with my life. Driven and successful, I had achieved many goals and built an impressive framework of accomplishments—always ready to climb the next rung. Then, out of nowhere, this question emerged, reminding me of an innocent dream my rational mind had wisely forgotten.

Where did this voice come from, the one that suddenly cast doubt on my roles, identities, and achievements, replacing them with a new exclamation mark, shimmering in the colors of the rainbow within me? Life had plans for me that I wasn’t prepared for. Helplessly, I watched as this wake-up call revealed something inside me—something that had always been there, hidden and sheltered in the depths of my being, waiting to be unveiled by life itself.

It was the timeless call of my soul, touching my heart to initiate me deeper into the mysteries of my life. Following this call is one grand adventure. If you choose to follow it too, I can promise you nothing. I cannot tell you what will happen. I cannot even tell you where you will be tomorrow if you embrace it. This call leads you beyond familiar, known structures into something new, something foreign. Exposed to the unknown, you will delve into the deep truth of your essence.

Are you truly ready to leave behind your habits, concepts, and expectations and learn to walk again on an unfamiliar path? Are you prepared to embrace the sensitivity and vulnerability of your being with responsibility? Are you ready to shed the clothes of “I am this” and “I am not that”? What about your ambition, your drive to achieve, and your desire to possess? Can you truly trust your inner voice and your senses? Are you ready for all these questions? Perhaps it’s better to wait a little longer.

“What are you waiting for?” whispered a mysterious voice from the silence within me, pulling me out of my sleep once again. This time, I stayed awake. I couldn’t help it. I wanted to find out who I truly am. Standing on the threshold of life, I gathered all my courage and quietly said, “Yes.” I breathed into the silence, feeling a flutter in my stomach as it mingled with the uncertainties of doubt. Only when my soul embraced me with a warm smile did I know I was ready.

Today, I deeply love and cherish this inner voice that so openly revealed life to me.

What are you waiting for?

What is Gestalt Therapy?

Gestalt therapy is a humanistic-existential psychotherapy approach developed in the late 1940s by Fritz Perls, Laura Perls, and Paul Goodman. Its goal is to support individuals in their personal growth—whether or not psychological disorders are present. By integrating physical, emotional, and mental levels, it provides a foundation for lasting transformations. With a focus on self-responsibility, the ability for self-support, and the conscious experience of the here and now, Gestalt therapy helps clients expand their agency and live more authentically. The dialogical exchange between therapist and client is a central tool for healing wounds from past, often challenging relationships.

Student of Life

Since I began listening to the teachings of my soul, I have learned much and perhaps unlearned even more. Isn’t life an eternal cycle of birth and death, construction and deconstruction, estrangement and coming home? Living consciously within these cycles means understanding that everything has its time. Life reveals itself naturally when I give space to vitality and life force. Patience is a necessary practice—to trust in the breath of life so that things can mature. Nature teaches us this through its cycles and rhythms of growth and decay.
